"In the Nordic tradition sparsely populated landscapes and scenes of isolation are prominently featured, often interrupted by comically tinged encounters that on closer inspection dissolve into sterile observations on social disconnect. References from cultural mythology and contemporary illustration are combined with a superb sense of design and color to create pared down compositions that further reflect the solitude both communal and geographical. "
