Coffee in copper kettle

Saturday coffee. It's such a mess in the apartment we prefer to be outside. Coffee and a very tasty waffle with cream and jam. Could have been worse :)

Long walks

Long walks in the wonderful spring weather and a lot of renovating turbulense at home, makes Morran very tired. My little pig snores a lot :)

Kitchen part 2

These boxes contains my new kitchen.

This is my "kitchen" right now, I have to do the dishes in the bathtub. Take-away will be the solution.

It took less then an hour to tear it all down. I guess it will take a little bit longer to get it up again.

I'm so excited - I just bought flight tickets to Istanbul in october! I will go there for the 10th Istanbul Art Biennial. Have you been in Istanbul, do you live there? Guidance will be mostly appreciated.

Kitchen

The kitchen is cute but not very user friendly. We are getting a new one. No more excuses for not cooking :)

I answered some questions for 3x3 Magazine. Hopefully they will fix my english, but you will have to bare with it :)

Favorite color?
Pale grey/blue

What do you listen to while working?
It depends on in which part of the process I'm in. The first part, something that inspires me, like Radiohead.
The next part I listen to commersial free radio.

Favorite medium and surface?
For illustrations, my Rotring pen, Canson sketch pad and Photoshop.
Paintings, Winson & Newton acrylic paint on board.

Who is your favorite artist?
Karin Wikström, Karin Mamma Andersson and Jockum Nordström.

How do you start your day?
With breakfast and a long walk with my dog, Morran.

Favorite art director or designer?
At the moment clothes designer Nygårds Anna.

If you weren't an artist/illustrator what would you be doing?
I started as a Graphic Designer so that's what I would be. I was trying to figure out something else I could be, less obvious, but I can't imaging a life without the creative part.

What do you collect?
Stones, I have stones from when I where 5 years old. It is nothing I think of, it just happens.

Panicing, breaksdown and starts over.

Dolomites, the Italian Alps. Cadaques, Spain.

My computer. 2nd a David Trubridge lamp.

Name something that you think is overrated.
The vacuum cleaner - Electrolux Ergorapido. It has got prices for best design, but it DOESN'T VACUUM!
How can they call it a vacuum cleaner, it's more like a sculpture. (stupid me bought one :(
