A new Year

Soon this blog will be two years old, I'm still in love with it :) It has been two fantastic years, I hope it will last many more years. Thank you.

Colours look different in daylight and electric light. Since the colours are important to me I usually only paint in daylight. Which makes it harder this time of the year. Then drawing is a good substitute. I can't resist to add some colour though.

Have a wonderful Christmas! I wish we all will have a great and exiting 2007!

It felt like I've been gone for over a week when I came home again. So many impressions, shops, smells and marathon walking/talking :) I hope we'll meet again soon.

Lucia

It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness - Swedish saying.

I will not be able to celebrate Lucia tomorrow. I'm going to London, again, to meet Abigail and Claire. We had so much to talk about and not enough time, last time. Karin was supposed to join us, unfortunately she's too busy with all your Christmas orders :) She gave me some tip about some shops, like Hand, Vessel, Flow, Graham and Green, also I would love to have some afternoon tea with scones and clotted cream.
I will bring a bottle of glögg and some pepparkakor/gingerbreads to serve with it. (Do you want to know more about Swedish Christmas traditions?)

The weather gods had pity

It was just for a day, but we are happy about it any way :)

Morran

Morran is having a strange and I think hard period. I say that she has pms. It's the time when she is suppose to have puppies. When we are walking in the woods she is constantly looking for holes where she can have her nest. I have to keep her in her leash because if she find a good hole it is really hard to get her to come out again! I have to hide her toys, she walks around with them in her mouth, holding them very softly, crying and trying to find a good place to lie down and feed them. She even puts them in the proper position. This morning she got her eyes on Wendy's bird, making me and her crazy. I filmed her when I gave it to her. Don't worry Wendy she's very gentle with it, just looking and sniffing at it to see everything is allright :)

Can you feel it yet?

Christmas is coming closer and closer. This is the only thing yet that has told me so, some Christmas hangings and cards I've sent to Artstar. Trying to get rid of some of the cuteness ;)

Just the other day I got an e-mail from Mique Moriuchi and from that site I found my way to Leo Hillier which happens to be Tinyshowcase print this week. Everything goes around :)

My new blue dot necklace from Modamuse, Karin blogged about it, I bought it :) I like it!

Everything is about shopping! So no more of that, at least not today ;) What about some photographs instead.
Edge, so many good photographers.

Winter prints

A collaboration between Port2port and me :) You can buy them here (they have already Sold out! but there is other beautiful prints).

I know that for example Mahar Drygoods still have some Listen and Redhood prints left. Look at my link list to see the other shops that carries some of my items.

Today is the first day of decembers Design*Sponge shop.

I'm looking for a backpack, any ideas?
I wish olydig could make a backpack, these bags would look good as backpacks, don't you think.

Living life

One of the things I like about this dark season is that people have the lights on and you can see that they are there. I can see that teenage girl and her little brother preparing themselves for a night out or just sitting in front of the computer. Or another window, another family gathering around the kitchen table playing some game. I like to have them there.

I'm thinking of starting a new hobby, kayaking! I've already got a lifewest for birthday present :) You have to start somewhere. I'm already preparing for Morran to get old... when she doesn't want to climb around in the big mountains any more. Then she can sit in my kayak. If I can keep her warm I think she will like it. I have the feeling it is like walking/hiking but on the water, I think I will like it. The west coast of sweden, where I live, has a fantastic achipelago.
