April Walking new paths
Smelling on new things. Trying to see other things then I usually do. Next week I'll be looking for numbers. Has everyone that participated in the paper trade received their papers? I visited Vitte's
ordblog and found a link to a danish artist - Gitte
Bach. Another great link from The Lumper (Thinkmule)- Jeffrey Decoster.

Beatrice Alemagna - "Portraits", absolutely fantastic.
Irène Schoch - "Je souris toute l'année"
Harriet Russell - "A is for rhinoceros". Another
of her books is about envelopes. I bought a lot of books, but it was nothing compared with Ana, she had to pay extra on the plane. Here's some of her books. More illustrators:

Mo...rran
Ana and Camilla. Guess who's portuguese and who's swedish :)
I've done a Bologna-slideshow. Last summer Ana and Rosa invited me to Portugal, of course I went. It was a short but great weekend in Lisboa. That was the first time we met, I liked her even before we met. Even more after. I think she's me in Portugal ;) but shorter :D I liked what Corey wrote in my guestbook, that Venice is living art. Made me think about Las Vegas again :)) What will Las Vegas look like in a couple of hundred years?
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * White and brown
Italian desserts...mmmm... this is Pannacotta one coffee and one vanilla with caramel...mmm... I've been away for a week and already after that short time I feel totally lost in the Blog world. Claire
K is in Cairo (I think..) talk about colour.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Venice
Back to Bologna with the last train. Felt like interrailing. Venice is truly beautiful, but in a way it feels like Las Vegas - a piece of scenery. Wonder why Vegasandvenice has choosen her blog-name? Penelope
tells you why she got to be an illustrator.

Ana at the fair looking at illustrations. We lunched with people from Marlena agency.
Gosia Machon, from Germany, acrylic on celluloid.
Bologna by night, on my way to a restaurant with Ana, Dora, Teresa and Eduardo. For dessert - chocolate profiterole :) The best about the fair is to see illustrations from countries you normally miss. Like Iran - Rashin Kheyrieh. You know when you are waiting for your luggage at the airport and your bag looks exactly the same as the rest, here is the solution.

Waiting in the hotelbar.
The whole city of Bologna is in this colour.
There are a lot of archades. I was plannig to join Mecozy's week of colour, but then I just have to show you my pictures from my wonderful week in Italy, Bologna Children's Book Fair, with Ana. So this week will be my italian week. If you are looking for guidelines:
