I've been invited to join Beautiful Scrap Paper Project.
"I have been gathering up many scraps from all of the books and other things that I make (they're too nice to throw out!) and have packaged them up into 100 packets. They are being sent to 100 artists and illustrators all around the world, to make whatever they'd like with them, and then send me their favourites. We will then have a online gallery of all the beautiful scraps, and I may also put together a show as well".
Sharilyn (lovelydesign) has put together a introduction page, it includes links to everyone taking part in this project.

Easter weekend
We went to the south of sweden for the exhibition I'm participating in, this is almost as south as it gets - Kåseberga. Morran is pretending that the waves are chasing her.
This is the second day of the exhibition. I guess you've seen mine paintings, here comes some of the others.

First spring day!
First spring day! And (almost) no one was working because of the easter holiday. I saw my first butterfly, and it was the first day for months without mittens. So wonderful.
This is Pinkie (already sold) crocheted with three different pink to get the right colour.
I don't know what it is, but I like the look of it.
No Illustration Friday this week because it is everyday but friday!? As a matter of facts it is already next week illustration friday, I'm lost.

Easter is approaching
Easter is approaching much to fast. Like all hollidays I didn't see it coming. I haven't planned anything!

She was afraid of beeing copied so I had to take the photos away - sorry.
A friend of mine, Lena Vatter, is making this cute storage, the big ones are a sort of cupboard with a door and the small ones is a storage with a lid on top. She thinks that she is doing them for children, I'm not a child and I want one!

Scotland :D
I've been to Scotland ones before, but it was so much more beautiful than I remerered! More dramatic. And I absolutely LOVE the colours.
After a day out in the nature we had Afternoon tea in front of the fire. Scones with clothed cream and jam mmm...
It was a wonderful (but short) holiday. Better than I hoped it would be. But I was not sad going home - thinking of Morran (and a little surprising thinking of you all my internet-friends).

Welcome party for Fran!
Fran and her little bodyguard the pear has come all the way from Australia - from Loobylu - aren't they absolutely lovely! I did a trade for Mr palebluepants. We are celebrating with - a semla - and as you can see Morran's already eaten the cap. All the others are ready to throw themselves over the rest (except for the pear that looks a little distress about that BIG dog).

Tomorrow we are going to Scotland - Glenfinnan - close to Fort William and Scotland's highest mountain - Ben Nevis. This is where we are going to stay. I hope that it's no snow there, I picture Scotland green. I'm so looking forward to this trip! Scotish pub, Afternoon tea, the sea and beeing served.
We are staying til sunday so you will have to wait for any updates.

Today - 8 march - it's the International Women's Day. I celebrated that with (ONE of these) a "Semla/fat tuesday bun". Morran's already eaten the cap, I don't want to be fat by my own (alone) ;)

It's been a wonderful weekend (even without spring-birds)
Fast vår helg har varit fantastisk vacker och skön så kan jag ändå inte låta bli att vara lite avundsjuk på Kerstin och Zack som är ute och åker långfärdsskridskor 2 mil bara så där. Kolla in deras vyer!!
Någon som antagligen hade ungefär samma vy som mej och Morran var nog Selma som jag fick en hälsning från häromdagen. Vem vet vi kanske till och med har träffats i Slottsskogen?
