Small objects that made our weekend much happier!
I guess these two healers will do the trick.
For a closer look at the little healers - Short and stout - Pancake Sunrise they are just gorgeous! (Pancake Sunrise is holding a stack of pancakes with butter and maplesyrup on, I wish I where too, I love american pancakes with lots of syrup and butter mmm... Hrm!) It's increadible how the little figures have such character and personalities. Here is a closer look at the framed "photo" I'm so happy about having that one here in my home. Thank you Sarah I love it all!!!

Only two things...
One good and one bad - starting with the good one. I'm on Clandestina the colors section.
The bad one is hopefully not so bad, but today Morran's been operated on. She'd got lumps in her breast. Hopefully it's "good" lumps. They are sending them away to find out. This is quite common, but on older dogs. Poor Morran :-( So I have to sit in the sofa with Morran all day and can not update properly.

I think I will have to do "selfportrait tuesday".... maybe once a month. Now it seems like every other day.
Answers for some of your questions
- Is-björn = Ice-bear = polar bear. ----- Björn Borg. Björn in ABBA :-)
- It takes about 9-10 hours to crochet for example Isbjörn.
- I use a Fujifilm Finepix S304 camera, 6 x optical zoom, 3,2 megapixels. It's already almost 4 years old!
- I have a Master of Fine Arts degree, + two years of painting in Art school, and I'd love to do it all again.
- At least for now - I can't crochet for commission, sorry.

Weekend
On saturday we (Morran and I) went for a coffe with Karin. She was just as sweet as you think she is. I'm sure we will meet again :-)
Then we went to the woods for a night of camping. It was
the strangest night - there was a raveparty somewhere close ALL night,
they didn't stop until 9 in the morning! It was fun and boring at the
same time, definately a new experience, but not what you have in mind
when you tent in the middle of the woods.
But it was nice in the end and we picked a lot of blueberries.

If you look at Mia's picture you can see mine, and get a fealing for the size. When I was at the fair in Lissabon many of you told me that you thought my crochet characters were much smaller. It surprised them/you that they where much bigger in real life. I wonder how small they/you think Morran is - like a little mouse ;-)

Tomorrow, tomorrow is the day
Some days ago Kim C posted a link to Andrea Dezso I remembered that I visited that site and got very fascinated about the colour pen drawings. I bought a lot of those pens - red, blue, green and black - in one (they felt so old-fashion and I was afraid that I'd like it and that they would stop produce it :). I only did this drawing, I started to crochet creatures instead.
Maybe I should start to wear earrings again.

Where is the sun!
Since we came back there's been no sun, at all. And they call this summer - 16 degrees celcius (60 degrees farenheit)!! It's rather nice anyhow, it's just all the things you plan for summer... but it's not over yet. The best part is that I don't need to have bad conscience for sitting in front of my computer :)
