April Recycled Monster
My Month of Softies contribution. More pictures on my monster - here. If you are out late, your back hurt or you are just lazy
- this is the trick for your dog (you just have to remember the type of
socks you are wearing - stockings could take a while). Here's the "movie"
from Morran production. Take a look at this little cutie, a pig with a dog that looks like Morran. (found at My little mochi)
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Things are moving around (the world)
Today I got a package from Marta, with two happy figures (father and son) and some love. Thank you Marta! And Hillary (wee wonderfuls) got a two packages, one cute Kitty from Rosa and one Redtop from me. You have to go and look at her photos. It's for the "Fauna trade". Foxie moved and changed the name to Foxy Gray If you think I'm trying to take over the world - you're right! Sending bits and pieces all over - for example to Tania in Canada. Something that has nothing to do with me ;)
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * A blue note
This makes me crazy! This is a little bit easier, but still ... (use the mouse buttons). Meat-art and lots of other artists.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Nostalgia part two - the little stitch machine
I did very long strings and I never found any use for them.
What

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Nostalgia part one - The Rotadraw
Pieces from my childhood. I've got four of these - Rotadraw. You put it on a paper, and "secure" its position with a needle.
Then you make a little mark where the start arrow and nr 1 is - look for the line with a 1 and draw it. Move the circleplate and place the 2 on the little mark - look for the line with a 2 and draw it and so on ...
When you are finished and remove the circleplate you've hopefully draw something (I remember that I actually failed sometimes). Before I started to do this one I was pretty sure that it would be a budgie, hmm, it's a donkey or a foal? Here is another Rotadraw. Leave a message in the tree.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Spring is here!
If you surf around like a lunatic you sometimes end up somewhere and completely forgotten how you got there - Windy and Friends. A link for Hello Kitty fantasts. A lot of great stuff, for example a lamp formed as a button! Mixko.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Sweeties
I would really like to have that winter birch variant (link from Erica Mulherin). Sorry but that's all I've got time for today...
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Paper
Found route plan.
Scrap - numbers. Against rape.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * A guest from afar
We just couldn't wait til we got home, we had to open it. And there she was - Fauna - and some other goodies (I really liked that little green box with a flower on the top. And the biscuites looking like mushrooms are already eaten. The yarn has started to be another creature).
Here she is in her true elemen, isn't she a beautyt. Thank you soooo much Hillary! Fauna has two sisters - this is Merryweather and this is Flora, they are all wonderful (but Fauna is the best ;) Take a look at this - I'm blushing... Gary Baseman's Happy idiot at Strangeco This is great, and you are free to participate if you'd like to (link found at Something to say).
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * B as in birch
Yiieah! now for sale I have moved to another country! More toys:
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The weekend is over
It's been a very busy weekend - screen course, family visits and some of the first warm days. The course was so much fun! My head is spinning of ideas, now I have to stop it and try to pick one or two ideas.
I've been working on this really big illustration (150 x 250 cm / 59 x 98 inch) for a company. It was so heavy (for the computer) so I'd to divide it in two pieces. when I waited for the computer to do the commands I crochet this little fellow. Searching for inspiration for the Beautiful Scrap Paper Project.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Textile course (silkscreen printing)
Beautiful locations
I like the result!
Of course Morran had to be there somehow. It's a illustration I did a while ago that I've rasterised. I'm so tired after a day standing instead of sitting (in front of the compute).
Katjat
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is Redtop
She's going to live with Hillary. Guess who's coming to live with us?! Her name starts with an F. Today I'm going to participate in a textile-silkscreen course. I'm very excited about it. I've been a member of KKV - Konstnärernas Kollektiv Verkstad (Artist Collective Workshop). And I have to have a "drivin license" for the Textile workshop. Their are workshops for enamel, ceramic, wood, glass, metall, casting and more. But I'm just allowed to be in the textile and the screenprint workshops (for now!). Here's some links to other members. Take a look at this tree, looks like mine in "Alone" my latest Illustration Friday post. Another Flickr link, you have to look at more than one.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Just another day
Warm breakfast bread, one of the good things working from home.
"No I'm not listening, can't you see I'm sleeping!"
I'd like these
crochet-shoes. My little Mochi is organizing a postcard swap.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Débora
It seems to be my lucky week this week too! Look what I got from Débora, one of the Meninas aos riscos. It made me very happy :) and a little bit a shame - the package I sent to her wasn't half as nice... I'll try to recompence... Some swedish links:
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * "Newsletter" If you want to get a "newsletter" when there is new stuff in the shop - e-mail me (you don't have to write anything - if you don't want to of course) and let the subject be shop. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * B
Crochet in the handspun and fantastic Debbie Bliss yarn -
Maya. Shika
object.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Searching for the sun
I'd sure like one of these wispering cushions (found that link at La Coctelera). Naive Knitting is kind enough to share a pattern for a knitted bunny, and instructions for a sock-dog.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * It's my lucky week!
I've got mail today too! From Canada both of them. One from
Tania
containing (among a lot of other things) two great music cd's. It's quite
amazing that without knowing each other she could send me two cd's with
music I really like. Thank you thank you Tania :x Beautiful crochet things.
Someone's in love....
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * I've got mail
I've got snailmail from Hope. Thank you Hope! A new ATC-link
on Flickr. Choco arrived to Kraf-O-La see the first meeting with a cat. Thank you for all sweet comments - they made my day :D
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Meet King Louie
i always think that the last one is the cutest, I guess that's why I can keep doing them. Go to the shop to see more of him. Get crafty with geometri. Welcome to the world of Banjo.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Month of softies
Here's my cutest "softie".
Why do I write about softies? - The Month of Softies gallery for March is now up! Thank you Loobylu for all the effort you put in to this. You can find mine here. The next month theme is "Recycled Monster Action". Doma a very BIG softie.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Weekend
While waiting for some "real" flowers.
Lots of run in the little legs.
Instead of going out with the dog!?
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Fair
It's a sew-fair here in Gothenburg. I've never been to one so... There was not much that interested me, there was mostly quilt things. I think that those quilt fabrics are - maybe not ugly but at least very boring!
And who wants to be on a fair when the sky looks like this.
Of course there was something even for me on the fair. For needle felted things look here:
